The Precision Brain Health Educational Consultation is a one-time, 60-minute meeting for individuals and families seeking expert perspective on brain health, cognitive health, available information, or possible next steps.

You may come with a specific question, information you are trying to make sense of, a complex situation you want help thinking through, or simply a desire to better understand what a precision brain-health approach could look like for you.

The consultation is designed to be flexible and centered on what would be most useful to you.

Topics may include:

Questions about brain health, cognitive health, healthy aging, or dementia risk
Existing laboratory results, imaging, cognitive testing, reports, or other information you would like to better understand
Different approaches or recommendations you are considering
Brain-health research, emerging developments, and areas of uncertainty
Questions about precision and personalized approaches to brain health
How to think about priorities and possible next steps
Whether more longitudinal educational guidance would be useful

Rather than approaching each new result in isolation, the program helps participants maintain a coherent, evolving picture of their brain health over time.

You may submit relevant records and your top 1–3 questions in advance.

These materials may be reviewed briefly before the consultation to help make your hour together more focused and productive. Comprehensive record review, extensive preparation, and a written report are not included.

A standalone consultation — or a starting point

For many people, one focused conversation is all they need.
Others may discover that their questions involve multiple areas, evolving information, or a need for continued educational integration.
In those situations, the consultation can also provide an introduction to the broader Precision Brain Health Program and help you understand whether the Annual Precision Brain Health Education Program may be appropriate.
There is no requirement or expectation to enroll in the annual program after your consultation.

Important distinction

The Precision Brain Health Consultation is an educational service provided through the Pacific Neuroscience Institute Foundation. It is separate from clinical care through the Pacific Brain Health Center.

The consultation does not establish a treating physician relationship and does not include medical diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, or ordering of tests. Clinical appointments and medical care remain separate.
